You can magnify the image and focus precisely with MF (manual
focus).

Set the lens’s focus mode switch
to <MF>.
Turn the lens’s focusing ring to focus
roughly.

Display the magnifying frame.
Press the <

> button.

The magnifying frame will appear.

Move the magnifying frame.
Use <

> to move the magnifying
frame to the position where you want
to focus.

Magnify the image.
