Raise the slot cover a little

IMPORTANT
•
Do not touch the main board parts, printed wire, or connectors with your
hands.
•
When installing RAM/ROM, be careful so that any metal objects such as
screws do not touch the main board.
•
Do not drop screws, paper clips, staples, or other metal objects inside the
printer. If any of these objects should drop inside the printer, do not plug
the power plug into the AC power outlet and contact your local authorized
Canon dealer.
•
Do not turn the printer ON without the rear cover or slot cover attached.
This may result in damage to the printer.
NOTE
The positions where the RAM/ROM modules are to be installed are as
shown in the following figure. Confirm the mounting locations before
installing the RAM/ROM modules.
