Turn on the detector.
Press and hold the POWER switch
(for at least 0.5 seconds).
Power LED lamps light up.
When inserting the battery cover, make sure it does not have a bulge in the
middle. If there is a bulge, the dust- and water-protective performance will
deteriorate. Check the shape of the battery cover, and if the inside of the cover
has warped into a curved shape, replace it with a new battery cover.
Make sure that the battery cover is inserted fully.
Make sure that the battery cover is locked securely.
The remaining battery pack charge is indicated by the Power LED lamps of the
detector when the detector is turned on.
