Ambient Light Sensor (177369)
Ambient light sensors are used to detect light or brightness in a manner similar to the human eye. The ambient light
sensor is located on the CPU board and adjusts the brightness on the
LaserLight2
in daytime or night time
conditions.
The LaserLight2 defaults to the Night setting if the sensor is absent.
Do not attempt to cut the light sensor pins to the same length.
To install a light sensor, ensure that the pins (long and short) are properly inserted correctly into the J14 connector.
The short pin side has a flat side to the sensor and must be oriented on the right side of J14.

Insert into the terminal block and bend pins slightly so that the pins are located by the hole located in the bottom of
the enclosure.

Decimal Point
Ensure the decimal point configuration is compatible with the remote display when configuring the indicator
attached to the
LaserLight2
. The primary display board has decimal LED’s. These can be changed to commas by
moving jumpers JMP1 and JMP2, located on the back of the display board to the right.
Ensure that the decimal point/comma jumper is in the proper position on the display board.
