Remove propeller shaft. Refer to

Punch a sharp screwdriver through oil seal for re-
moval.
NOTE:
Position screwdriver only in marked areas
to avoid damaging the ball bearing behind oil seal
during removal.

Before beginning the installation ensure gearbox
is set to PARK position.
Lubricate sealing lips, refer to
OIL SEAL LUBRI-
CATION
in this subsection.
Apply engine oil on outer diameter of oil seal to
avoid damaging it during installation.
Place oil seal on output shaft and install it using
the following tools.

Removing the Gearbox
Remove engine from vehicle. Refer to

– Drive and driven pulleys
– CVT air guide.

Unscrew the four (4) nuts that attach the gearbox
to the engine.
