AVOID ACCIDENTS
– Never grab the cage or ROPS while
riding. Hands can be crushed be-
tween the cage or ROPS and the
ground in a rollover. Keep hands on
the steering wheel or handholds.
– Never try to stop a rollover using
your arms or legs. If you think that
the vehicle may tip or roll, the driver
should keep both hands on the
steering wheel and the left foot
firmly planted on the footrest. The
passengers should keep both hands
on the handhold and both feet firmly
planted on the floor.
Avoid Collisions
This vehicle can reach high speeds. At
higher speeds, there is an increased
risk of losing control, particularly in
challenging off-road conditions, and
the risk of injury in a collision is greater.
Never operate at excessive speeds.
Always go at a speed that is proper for
the terrain, visibility, and operating con-
ditions, and your experience. Consider
reserving use of the performance key
for situations in which full speed and
acceleration capability are appropriate.
Never operate this vehicle on any pub-
lic street, road or highway, even dirt
or gravel ones. Riding your vehicle on
roads or highways could result in a colli-
sion with another vehicle. This vehicle
is not designed for operation on roads.
For example, it does not meet motor
vehicle safety standards that apply to
automobiles. In many jurisdictions it
is not legal to operate this vehicle on
public roads.
This vehicle does not have the same
kind of protection for collisions as a
car; for example, there are no air bags,
the cockpit is not fully enclosed, and
it is not designed for collisions with
other vehicles. Therefore, it is particu-
larly important to fasten seat belts and
side nets close the full doors and wear
an approved helmet.
