Resetting of communication settings
Once the MODBUS settings have been stored in the device, communication with the device is only possible if the settings
are known.
The following technique resets the MODBUS settings to the delivery status:
- Device address: 01h
- Baudrate:
19200
- Parity:
None
- Stop bits:
2
A plug prepared for this purpose (Te is connected to Terminal GND with a resistance of 1 kOhm) is connected to the
RS485 interface before the device is switched on.
After the device has been switched on, the red LED shines for approx. 30 seconds. During this time, the green LED fl ashes.
Subsequently, the red LED turns off (the green LED continues fl ashing). Within further 30 seconds, this plug has to be removed
from the device.
After the successful completion of this procedure, the communication default settings are stored again in the device.
If the procedure described is not adhered to, the interface parameters are not changed.
