interface container)
;
- Side by side modules
;
- Modules overlapped vertically (the sensor module must be
placed above the power supply and interface module)
.
Modules overlapped horizontally
1. Open the pre-perforations and thread the connectors through
the cable passing pre-perforations
N
;
2. Attach the container for the power supply and interface module
to the sensor module support
N
and make the connections
N
. Lock the connectors using double-sided tape
N
.
Note. Be careful not to attach the cover of the power supply and
interface module face down and to not pinch any wires.
3. Keep the upper part of the support and mount the sensor
module
O
.
4. Fasten the bottom of the power supply and interface module
container to the wall using the supplied screws, while taking into
account the height
P
.
5. Connect the connectors.
When the sensor module tamper is connected to the power
supply and interface module tamper, removing this connection
by disconnecting it or cutting it, DOES NOT trigger the activation
of the tamper circuit. To detect any disconnection one must cut the
wired jumper on the sensor module as shown in the figure
P
.
In this case the tampers of the two modules must be connected
otherwise the TROUBLE output will always be open.
6. Insert the batteries on to the power supply and interface
module and close the module container
Q
.
7. Establish the horizontal detection angle by removing the
fixture. Make any adjustments, fit the fixture and the support
R
.
NOTE. The detection beam must be parallel to the wall to avoid
any interference with the wall itself
S
. When the device is
mounted on a corner to detect along the wall, aim it by choosing
the guide line engraved on the side opposite the wall along which
you want to detect
S
.
8. Establish the detection length: 2m
T
o 5 m (default)
T
.
To have 2 m of detection length, turn the lower lens 180°
U
. Do
not remove the top lens.
9. Attach the cover to the sensor module
V
and perform a
walk test
Side by side and vertically overlapped modules
1. Open the pre-perforations
W
and thread the connectors
through the cable-passing pre-perforations
X
;
2. Fasten the sensor module support and the power supply
and interface module container to the wall
Y
and make the
connections.
For installing horizontally side by side modules position the
sponge as shown in the figure
Y
; for vertical installations
Y
position the sponge as shown in the figure
Y
.
To complete the installation proceed as described starting from
point 3 in the 'Horizontally overlapped modules' paragraph.
Replacing the batteries
The batteries power both the interface and the sensor module.
Open the power supply and interface module container, discon-
nect the connections and remove the PCB from the container by
applying pressure with a screwdriver
A
.
Replace the batteries, reconnect the connections and close the
container. NOTE. Check that the stabilization phase has started
properly.
DISPOSAL
Make sure the packaging material is not disposed of in
nature, but rather disposed of in compliant with the laws
in effect in the country in which the product is being used.
At the end of the product's life cycle, make sure it not disposed
of in nature. The equipemtn must be disposed of in compliance
with current laws and its components recycled where possible.
The components that should be recycled are marked with the
material's ID marker.
