You can have your water tested at a private analytical laboratory or contact your local council for advice in regards
to your local environmental health officer. It is always recommended to install pre-‐filtration of at least 5 microns
prior to a CALMAG YORKSHIRE LIMITED UV disinfection system. CALMAG YORKSHIRE LIMITED provides pre-‐filters
housings and cartridges as standard on the CALULTRA 12 and CALULTRA 22 units and do recommend pre-‐filters on
all units. Please call to discuss the appropriate filter for the unit.
