1. ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT
1.1 Purpose - This practice provides a description of Emerson Network Power’s MESA
®
(Modular
Electronic Seated Architecture) 6 NxT Outdoor Enclosure as well as installation instructions.
Note: Optional Battery Heater Pad kit must be ordered separately from the cabinet.

2. CABINET DESCRIPTION
2.1 Application
2.1.1 The MESA
®
6 NxT / Calix ODC-120 is part of the MESA
®
line of Modular Electronic Sealed
Architecture cabinets. The MESA
®
NxT provides a flexible, economical housing within the
network infrastructure. The MESA
®
6 NxT / Calix ODC-120 cabinet is deployed in limited
size and remote outside plant applications. The cabinet offers a compact solution for housing
electronics, protection, distribution, and battery backup.
2.1.2 The MESA
®
6 NxT / Calix ODC-120 cabinet provides a thermally managed internal
environment where outside cooling air and batteries are totally isolated from the electronic
equipment.
