If the cabinet is level, then you do not need to continue with this procedure.
•
If the cabinet is not level, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2:
Open the cabinet doors. (See Section 3., "Opening And Closing The Cabinet
Doors," Page 5.)
Step 3:
Retrieve the shim kit shipped in the cabinet’s battery compartment. (The kit
contains brackets and shims to level and align the cabinet.) Set the shim kit safely
aside.
Step 4:
Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts and washers that anchor the cabinet to the
foundation pad. Set the bolts and washers safely aside.
Step 5:
Close and secure all cabinet doors. (See Section 3., "Opening And Closing The
Cabinet Doors," Page 5.)
Step 6:
On a side of the cabinet that you wish to raise, attache the alignment bracket from
the shim kit to the insert on the cabinet base (as shown in Fig. 21).
Step 7:
Place a shim beneath the alignment bracket and insert the adjustment bolt. See
Fig. 22.
Step 8:
Turn the adjustment bolt on the alignment bracket to raise the cabinet base until the
cabinet is level. See Fig. 23.
Step 9:
Stack shims next to the cabinet to determine how many shims you will need to place
between the cabinet base and the rubber pad gasket to level the cabinet. See Fig. 23.
