5.2.2 Viewing Saved Alarm Messages
Saved Alarm Messages listed in
Table 5-3
describe events and conditions
that occur on the ring. The LCD panel displays messages about the events
and conditions as they occur. The MicroMMAC-T stores the messages
produced since the last MicroMMAC-T reset for future retrieval. To view
Saved Alarm messages:
1.
Press the DISPLAY button for five seconds and then release to display
the first Saved Alarm message in the message queue.
2.
Press and then immediately release the DISPLAY button to display
each additional message.
The display defaults back to the product name if the DISPLAY button
is not pressed again within ten seconds.

A station is attempting to insert into a disabled lobe
port (number 1 to 24) on a STH hub (number 2 to 5).

A station is attempting to insert into a disabled lobe
port (number 1 to 24) on the MicroMMAC-T.

The Automatic Beacon Recovery Process is in
progress.

The ring has recovered from a beaconing condition.
