The BCVision program uses terminology that may need interpretation. The following chart should
provide clarification on the following terms:
The BCVision program runs on the BC Supervisor. To view and control BCVision, you must have
the BC Supervisor group (i.e., the EMS module) selected.
Because of the importance and the extent of the BCVision program, the remainder of this chapter
will describe administration through BCVision. It will address the various screens and features of
the program.

system group (includes processor module and
interface modules to make up a system)

processor module for a specific system group

IES
refers to the Intelligent Electronic Sensor
circuitry which feeds into the EMS module.
Generally, “IES” refers to the circuitry for a
specific platform.
