Directive 2006/42/EC.
Furthermore, the machine complies with the following directives and
standards:
• 2014/30/EU, Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC)
• 2011/65/EU, Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)
• DIN EN 15194:2017, Electrically Power Assisted Cycles (EPAC)
The CE marking is located on the e-bike under the bottom tube or in the
battery compartment of the frame (BOSCH e-bikes).

Warranty
With your decision to buy an e-bike from Schindelhauer, you are making a
high-quality product your own. According to warranty legislation, you are
entitled to a warranty period of 2 years. The warranty period begins with
the delivery of the e-bike to the customer. To prove the date of purchase
or handover, please keep the purchase receipts such as invoice and sales
slip for the duration of the warranty period.
In addition to the basic 2-year warranty period, there is a statutory
so-called reversal of the burden of proof for a period of 6 months after
delivery of the product. This means that if a fault occurs after the 6-month
period has expired, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to prove that the
fault was present at the time of delivery and was not caused by improper
use, functional wear or misuse.
The warranty does not include:
• Damages attributed to improper use or force majeure:
⇨ chap. 6 “Proper use” on page 118
and
⇨ chap. 8 “Misuse” on page 119
.
• All parts of the e-bike that are subject to function-related
wear and tear, unless they are production or material defects
⇨ chap. 45 “Wearing parts” on page 157
• Damage incurred through improper or insufficient care and repairs, con-
versions or the replacement of e-bike parts not performed in a profes-
sional manner. Detailed care instructions can be found in this instruction
manual.
• Damages from accidents or other unusual external factors to the extent
not attributed to erroneous information or product defects.
• Repairs performed with used parts or damage incurred as a result.
• Damage resulting from the use of the product in competitions.
• Subsequent add-ons that were not part of the scope of supply of
the product at the time of handover or damage incurred through the
improper installation of such add-ons.
