3. MAINTENANCE
3.1 Preventive maintenance
Due to the advanced nature of the materials used in the binder, the preventive maintenance is
reduced to the level of inspection, cleaning and occasional adjustments.
Warning: Disconnect
the main power before
you perform the
maintenance
Check the ejection path and
cover clamp for particles of glue.
Clean as required, otherwise the
clamps may freeze up and may
blow a fuse.
Use a cloth with spirit
(SOLVOID.RAP N° 9900 107).
Note: Silicone spray
can be used to
stop the glue from
sticking to the mechanism,
but if used, be very careful not
to spray in the glue tank or onto the
drum.This would ruin the glue.
Caution : The glue tank is hot. Use protection gloves to
work around it
