Fault Warning Lights

Fault warning lights are used to remind the driver of the occurrence of faults in a system.
Perform troubleshooting according to the following methods in case of faults.

Parking brake fault warning light

If the parking brake cannot be used normally, stop the vehicle and contact a
BYD authorised service provider.

Charging system warning light

Stop the vehicle and contact a BYD authorised service provider.

Powertrain fault warning light (if any)

Send the vehicle to a BYD authorised service provider for inspection if this
indicator keeps lighting up.

Power battery over temperature warning light

When this indicator lights up, stop the vehicle in order to cool the battery.

Power battery fault warning light

Send the vehicle to a BYD authorised service provider for inspection if this
indicator keeps lighting up.

ABS fault warning light

Send the vehicle to a BYD authorised service provider for inspection. If the
parking brake fault warning light also turns on, stop the vehicle and contact a
BYD authorised service provider.

Motor coolant over temperature warning light

If this warning light keeps lighting up, it indicates coolant over temperature.
In this case, stop the vehicle in order to cool down.

Air bag system fault warning light

Send the vehicle to a BYD authorised service provider for inspection.

Steering system fault warning light

Stop the vehicle and contact a BYD authorised service provider.
