7.1.1
Coupling up to the three-point hydraulic system of a tractor
1.
Check the machine for obvious defects when
coupling it up. In this connection, observe the
chapter "Responsibilities of the operator".
2.
Fit ball bushes to the upper link pin and the lower
link shaft.
3.
Align the lower link hooks in such a way that they
line up with the lower pivot points of the machine.
4.
Lock the lower links in place to ensure that they
cannot shift to the sides too vehemently.
5.
Keep everyone away from the danger area
between tractor and machine before driving up to
the machine.
6.
Drive the tractor up to the machine in such a way
that the lower link hooks of the tractor support the
lower pivot points of the machine.
7.
Raise the tractor's three-point hydraulic system
until the lower link hooks support the ball bushes,
lock into place automatically and lift the machine
slightly off the ground.
8.
Secure the tractor against unintended start-up and
rolling away. See also chapter "Securing the
tractor and the machine against inadvertent start-
up and rolling away".
9.
Couple the upper link.
10. Adjust the length of the upper link in such a way
that the three-point mounting frame hangs
vertically behind the tractor and the machine does
not come into contact with the tractor when lifted
out.
11. Couple the hydraulic hose lines as described in
chapter "Coupling the hydraulic hose lines".
12. Insert the control panel in the holder on the tractor
as described in chapter "Mounting the control
panel to the tractor".
13. Link the control panel to the machine using the
connecting cable.

14. Start the tractor engine.
15. Swivel the receiving hopper to the work position.
16. Raise the machine until the door is at a distance of
approx. 800 mm from the ground surface.
17. Adjust the length of the upper link if the selected
installation height does not allow the three-point
mounting frame to hang vertically behind the
tractor.
18. Check the machine for proper operation before
starting to work. Also refer to chapter "Checking
the machine for proper operation".
The machine is now ready for operation.
