Design 

The anti-drop device system consists of two fall arrestors with locking devices.  

Placement 

The support rails and control rails are integrated into the guide rails. The fall arrestors are 

attached to the bottom door panel.  

Operation 

If a certain door closing speed is exceeded (e.g. a door panel is falling), the locking 

devices latch into place in the support rails and block the bottom door panel. A spring on 
a pendulum (pendulum lock) prevents the pendulum being disengaged from the support 
rail due to subsequent vibrations of the door panel, and thus prevents the door from 
continuing to fall.  

Function 

Stopping of the falling movement if the fall arrestors exceed a determined closing speed 

Result 

Door panels in movement are brought to a standstill in every position.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note!

 

 

The door system is no longer ready for operation after anti-drop device system (fall arrestors) 

is triggered. The door system must be inspected again before putting it back into operation. 

Please contact the manufacturer or dealer for this.
