11.1 Control device (see Fig. 14)
The control device consists of:
•
The handle control

consists of a knob with inte-
grated control push buttons.
• The selector
A
placed on the control support that al-
lows the machine working selection: automatic or
manual.
- Automatic: it allows to enable the functioning of the
feeler pins placed on the bead breaking rolls.
- Manual: it allows to carry out all the bead breaking
operations without the checking of the feeler pins.

The lever

that allows the tool setting on the wheel

11.0 CONTROLS
The handle control

consists of:

The pushbutton “

” has one mechanically holded
position and once pushed it controls the operation of
the upper bead breaking roll cam for its insertion into
the rim in “Manual” mode. In the “Automatic” model
the pushbutton is disenabled.
•
The pushbutton “
G
” has one mechanically holded
position and once pushed it controls the operation of
the lower bead breaking roll cam for its insertion into
the rim in “Manual” mode. In the “Automatic” model
the pushbutton is disenabled.
•
Arms automatic return from the working position.
In AUTO mode, pushing at the same time the “
G
” and
“
B
” keys, the tools arms automatically return into the
limit switch position. To stop the automatism, to push
the keys to control the arms vertical translation.
•
The pushbutton “
C
” has one mechanically holded
position and once pushed it controls the vertical shift-
ing of the upper bead breaking roll. If pushed on its
lower part ( ), it will control the shifting downwards,
if pushed on its upper part ( ), it will control the
shifting upwards. Keeping it pushed for more than one
second, translation carries on automatically until the
arm reaches the stroke limit. To stop automatism,
push again the push button “
C
”.

The pushbutton “
D
” has one mechanically holded
position and once pushed it controls the vertical shift-
ing of the lower bead breaking roll. If pushed on its
lower part ( ),it will control the shifting downwards.
If pushed on its upper part ( ), it controls upward
shift. Keeping it pushed for more than one second,
translation carries on automatically until the arm
reaches the stroke limit. To stop automatism, push
again the push button “
D
”.
•
The pushbutton “
E
” has one mechanically holded
position. If pushed it controls the tool vertical trans-
lation in its lower part.
•
The pushbutton “
H
” has one mechanically holded
position. If pushed it controls the tool vertical trans-
lation in its upper part.
