Alarm Module (Optional)

The ink delivery module is equipped with a 6-pin Weidmuller connector at the back of the

IDM for users wishing to attach an audible or visual alarm device to the IDM. The alarm

would be triggered when an ink low condition or an error has occurred. See (

Figure 2-36

The connector has both normally open and normally closed contacts to control the alarm

module. It also has a 12 VDC power supply if it is required to power the alarm. Please

refer to

Figure 2-37

and

Table 2-1

for the description of each pin.
