Setup will load support for the following mass storage device(s):
Stratus Virtual Disk Driver
Stratus Embedded SAS Adapter
<When starting Recovery Console from Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM>
(a) Insert the Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM into the drive.
(b) When the CD-ROM is set, reset the system (press Ctrl + Alt + Delete ) or press the power switch to
power off and on to reboot the Fault Tolerant Server series.
(c) When the following message appears, press any key to start up from the CD-ROM.
IMPORTANT:
Press any key while the message is displayed. Otherwise the system will be started up from
a hard disk and Recovery Console will not be started.
(d) When the following message appears on the screen, press F6 quickly.

When the screen to select SCSI drivers appears, follow the steps below.
(a) When the following screen is displayed, press the
S
key.
(b) Set the OS-specific “OEM-DISK” and press Enter .
(c) Select [Stratus Virtual Disk Driver] and then press
Enter
.
The screen of (a) is displayed again.
(d) Select [Stratus Embedded SAS Adapter] and then press
Enter
.
Go back to the screen of the procedure (a), press
S
key and proceed to the procedure (d).
(e) When the following screen appears, remove the floppy disk from the floppy disk drive and press
Enter
.
Continue the operations by following the messages.
