11.6    DEDICATED SPEAKER UNIT FOR PABX (ITEM 335902)

A maximum of three speaker units item 335902  can be connected to each PABX exchange and a
nameplate module item 342200 can be connected to one of the speaker units.
Up to 3 outdoor stations can be connected without mixer. One of the three outdoor stations can have a
nameplate module for street number or other information. The speaker units of outdoor stations 1 and 2
must be configured. The speaker unit of the main outdoor station must not be configured.

Operation

The system automatically switches to the outdoor station from which the call was made. If a call is made
from one of the two temporarily excluded speaker units you will hear a telephone busy tone.
Idle the door lock command acts on the main outdoor station.
As a base the staircase light button of the speaker unit is associated to the exchange relay; it can however
be associated to one of the relays of expansion item 335916 if so programmed.
A twisted cable with minimum section 0.28 mm

2

 must be used for the connection between speaker unit

and PABX.
