NOTE:
The WSW07 is not applicable in those countries where no dial tone or line current detection is
supported, e.g., U.S.A.
NOTE:
If selector 3 is set to "1", manual dialing becomes impossible in those countries where no line
current detection is supported.
Selectors 1 and 2: Frequency band range
These selectors set the frequency band for the 1st dial tone and the busy tone (before dialing) to be
detected.
This setting is effective only when selectors 1 through 3 of WSW05 are set to “1,1,1.”
Selector 3:
Line current detection
This selector determines whether or not the equipment should detect a line current before starting
dialing.
Selectors 4 through 6: 2nd dial tone detection level
These selectors set the detection level of the 2nd dial tone.
Selector 7:
1st dial tone interrupt detecting time
This selector sets the allowable time length of an interrupt which should not be interpreted as an
interrupt in the 1st dial tone dialing.
Selector 8:
PABX loop current control
This selector determines whether the PABX loop current control will be enabled or disabled. Setting
this selector to "1" enables the loop current control that automatically switches the internal resistance
inserted in series with the communications line on and off depending upon the loop current amount.
Setting this selector to "0" disables the loop current control and keeps the internal resistance on.
For some PABXs that are not compatible with the facsimile equipment in voltage rating, set this
selector to "0."
The setting made by this selector takes effect only when the user selects the PABX. If no PABX is
selected, the PABX loop current control will be enabled independent of this setting.
