The nonport side of the Brocade 6542 Gen-5 16-Gbps FC switch module is not externally visible and it 
is internally plugged into the Inspur Shangri-la Blade Server chassis backplane. 

 

The nonport side of the switch module is seated in the chassis. The switch module seats correctly when 
the insertion arm is closed. 

 

When the switch module is inserted, the backplane connectors activate a connection port, allowing the 
switch module to be configured in the blade server chassis.
