Follow Fig. 8-2 at installation:
Clear the wheel axle (4) of impurities and apply slight layer of grease on it.
Put the wheel (2) on the axle.
Apply securing liquid (blue Loctite 243) on the screw threads and attach with it the wheel
rim and brake disc.
Screw and tighten the nut (3) on the wheel axle.
Secure the nut (3) with the new cotter pin.
Install the bracket and then wheel pant (see 8.3.2).

Removal of nose landing gear wheel

Tools needed:
wrench size 1 1/8 in

Follow Fig. 8-4 at removal:
Jack and support the airplane (see para 14.2)
Disassemble wheel fairing (see para 8.3.1)
Remove safety wire (4) securing bolts (3) on wheel axle (5).
Remove the bolts (3) from wheel axle (5).
Release the wheel axle (5) from the wheel hub, bushings (6) and the wheel fork eyes.

Installation of nose landing gear wheel

Tools needed:
wrench size 1 1/8 in
Follow Fig. 8-4 at installation:
Clear the wheel axle (5) of impurities and grease it slightly.
From one side shift the axle into the wheel fork eye (2)
Gradually put on first bushing (6), nose wheel rim (7) and second bushing (6) on the
wheel axle (5) according to the figure.
From both sides screw and tighten bolts (3) on the wheel axle (5).
Check for free turning of the nose wheel (turning must be continual without catching).
Secure bolts (3) with safety wire (4).
