Start the
Brew-Boss®
Application
After the controller is powered up as described above, make sure you are connected to the Brew-Boss
network as described in Section 2.
After connecting to the Brew-Boss network, you can start the
Brew-Boss®
app on the Tablet.
The
Brew-Boss®
App attempts to connect to the controller automatically on start up. The Controller
Connection Status window at the top right side of the screen should turn Green and indicate
“Connected” as shown in the following picture.
Make certain that your system parameters are set up properly as described in Section 6 in this manual.
The temperature shown on the controller LCD should match that shown on the
Brew-Boss®
App.
Once successfully connected, you can proceed to testing the heater, pump, and
Hops Boss
®
hops feeder
if you have one.
Test the Heater
Test the heater by pressing the Heater Toggle button so that the little green indicator turns on as shown.
The heater power slider bar should change to 100% and the heater power on the LCD display on the
controller should change from 0 to 100.
