ACCIDENTAL STARTING

death. Disconnect the battery cables before working
on the generator set. Disconnect the negative, (-)
cable fi rst when removing and reconnect it last when
replacing.

WARNING
Stopping The Generator
• Make sure that ALL
breakers on the AC
Panel are switched
OFF.
• To STOP the generator,
press the Start/Stop
button.
• Press the On/Off button to
de-activate the panel.
• Close the seacock.
NOTICE
If the electrical load has been operating
at more than 70% OR if the ambient
temperature is higher than 77o the generator
temperatures should be stabilized by turning
OFF the breakers at the AC panel and letting
the generator run for a minimum of 5 minutes
before shutting down.

NOTICE
Your first maintenance is required at 35
hours, by a qualifi ed technician, at which
time a maintenance checklist must be
completed.
Failure to comply will invalidate the generator
warranty.

Generator Fuel Filter
A fuel filter located on the
starboard wall of the bilge,
forward of the diesel fuel tank
provides clean fuel to the
generator (See fi g. 3.26.1).
A major cause of poor starting
or power loss is the result of a
clogged fi lter element or a fuel
system air leak.
Your Fischer Panda operations manual will have a
complete maintenance schedule that will need to be
followed to keep your generator in peak operating
condition.
Inspect the parts often and perform required
service at the prescribed intervals (See NOTICE
below). Maintenance work must be performed
by appropriately skilled and suitably trained
maintenance personnel familiar with generator set
operation and service.
