You can activate and configure encryption of the media data (video, audio and metadata) on
the
Encryption
page (see
Section 5.42 Advanced Mode: Encryption, page 87
).
Auto-connect
Select the
On
option to automatically re-establish a connection to one of the previously
specified IP addresses after each reboot, after a connection breakdown or after a network
failure.
Audio
Select the
On
option if you wish to additionally transmit a standalone G.711 encoded audio
stream with alarm connections.
Default camera
Here you can select the camera whose image will be automatically displayed first on the
receiver when the alarm connection is made. Depending on the system configuration, the
receiver can then select the other cameras as well.

Please note that the SSL encryption must be activated and configured at both ends of a
connection. This requires the appropriate certificates to be uploaded onto the VideoJet X20
(see
Section Maintenance log, page 89
).

In the default setting, Stream 2 is transmitted for automatic connections. Bear this fact in
mind when assigning the profile (see
Section 5.19 Advanced Mode: Encoder Profile, page 48
).
