Active opto-electronic guard (AOS)
Device whose detection function is performed by emitting and receiving
opto-electronic components. By interrupting the reception of the optical beam
generated in the device, the presence of an opaque object in the defined effective
range is detected.
Contactless guard (BWS)
Arrangement of devices and/or components that work together to provide access
protection or presence detection, including:
• a sensor element
• control/monitoring elements
• output devices
• all connection cables
