Sensor connection

Position the sensor at the marked location and con-
nect up.

Connect the sensor, insert in the fixture and fold up.

Connect the 3 platform connectors to the sensor.

Fold down the sensor.

Checking
The FWA 4630 always performs self-testing of all the
electronic components prior to the next wheel
alignment operation.

Make sure all plug-in contacts are firmly connected.

Make sure the three cables have been unplugged
before removing the sensors.

The sensors are only to be folded up for connection.

Switch-on/switch-off

Switch on the unit by way of the master switch on
the back panel of the housing.

Switch on the PC by way of the switch on the front.

The WIN XP operating system runs up automatically.

Before switching off the unit, the FWA 4630
must be shut down by way of the Windows
operating system. Prior to renewed switch-on, the
FWA 4630 should have been switched off for at least
60 seconds.

Online Help Wheel Alignment System
The Online Help is accessed by pressing the key "F5"
or the "Help" button. Online Help can be called up at
any time during measurement. The topic which appears
always relates to the current monitor display.

Software installation
The FWA 4630 system software is already installed. Up-
dating of the system software is described in the sepa-
rate "Download" instructions.

Driving vehicle onto measurement
bay
1.
Attach the turntables and sliding bases to the plat-
form.
2.
Insert fillers.

Insert the locking pins of the turntables and sliding

Make sure the vehicle is driven centrally and straight
iionto the measurement bay.

Drive the vehicle onto the turntables and sliding
bases.
