Adapting the CAMBox
Procedure:
1.
Turn the camshaft of the CAMBox by hand in the
direction of rotation (the direction of rotation arrow
is marked on the housing of the CAMBox next to the
camshaft) until the cam rises. The camshaft is then
difficult to turn.

2.
Turn the flywheel of the EPS until the drive flange of
the CAMBox can be screwed to the coupling assembly.
3.
Position the CAMBox against the coupling assembly
and screw the two together. Tightening torque:
70 - 80 Nm.
4.
Fasten the CAMBox to the clamping bracket of
the EPS with the two clamping screws. Tightening
torque: 50 - 80 Nm.

5.
Push the guard ring over the coupling assembly and
clamp in place.
6.
Check whether the cam is still on the rise.
