A desired priority channel can also be programmed to which the radio
switches in scan mode when the PTT key, the call key or the loudspeaker key
is pressed. If no priority channel is programmed, the radio switches to the
channel which was switched before starting scan mode under these
conditions.
If the radio stops on one of the scanned channels because the scan stop
criteria are fulfilled, this is indicated by the LED, the display symbol and the
display text “SCANSTOP”. The call can be made.
The scan mode is started with the plus or minus key.
The stop state is ended by closing the loudspeaker (e.g. pressing the loud-
speaker key), the radio continues the search.
Follower Contact Activation
Menu item with switching function. After calling with the menu key, the dis-
play content can be set from “on” to “off” or vice versa with the plus or minus
keys. This activates the follower contact (reverse contact on the radio’s
power supply), i.e. it closes, for example when an incoming call is decoded.
This can be used for example to activate a horn via a horn relay.

play content can be set from “on” to “off” or vice versa with the plus or minus
keys. This triggers the follower contact directly, i.e. a horn connected via a
horn relay for example can be switched on or off directly.
