10. Electronics
Voltage supply
The voltage is supplied via an 8-pin western plug X200 (70).
Plug functions:
The GND connections are directly at the plug and led to the
GNDM-plane.
The 5 V supply voltage for the printer is directly led to the
PCB Interface via a connection cable (7) and the plug X201.
In addition, this voltage supplies external instruments which
are connected to the interface plugs barcode reader (71),
Host PC (72) and external printer. The voltage is uncoupled
via thermal fuses (F201 and F202) with an electricity limit of
approx. 300 mA to guarantee protection from short circuit.
The system vo 5V and +/- 12 V are generated from
the 12 V voltage supply. the incoming electricity is limited to
approx. 1.5 A with the thermal protection fuse. All used
fuses are functioning after an overload.
