Adjust compression-stage
damping using adjusting
screw 1 .
To increase the stiffness of
the damping characteristic:
Use the tool from the on-
board toolkit to turn the ad-
justing screw clockwise in the
+ direction.
To reduce the stiffness of the
damping characteristic: Use
the tool from the on-board
toolkit to turn the adjusting
screw counter-clockwise in
the – direction.
Compression stage, ba-
sic setting, rear
Turn adjusting screw 1 to the
limit position in direction + ,
then turn it 5 clicks in direc-
tion – . (with rider 85 kg)
Adjusting rebound-stage
damping for rear wheel
CAUTION
Hot exhaust system
Risk of burn injury
Do not touch a hot exhaust
system.
Make sure the ground is level
and firm and place the motor-
cycle on its stand.
