Pilot won’t light
Gas pressure incorrect.
Pilot injector blocked / incorrect
size.
Piezo ignitor faulty.
(Refer fault diagnosis 5.1.1)
Check gas pressure and adjust if
necessary.
Check injectors and replace if
necessary.
Replace piezo ignitor.
(Refer service section 6.2.7)
Pilot drops out when knob
released
Releasing knob before
thermocouple is heated.
Faulty thermocouple.
(Refer fault diagnosis 5.1.2)
Pilot injector blocked / incorrect
size.
Gas valve magnet faulty.
(Refer fault diagnosis 5.1.2)
Hold control in for longer, see if
pilot will stay alight.
Replace thermocouple.
(Refer service section 6.2.1)
Check injectors and replace if
necessary.
Replace valve magnet.
(Refer service section 6.2.10)
Pilot goes out when main burners
come on
Incorrect gas pressure.
Faulty thermocouple.

Faulty gas control valve.
Check supply / adjust pressure.
Replace thermocouple.
