Program the hotkey as follows:

down until the Hotkey Set-up menu appears.

If you are currently using a main or function menu,

The system will switch to the Set-up menu.
If the DSC menu for an audio source or navigation is active,

Press the softkey marked
SETUP.
The system will switch to the Set-up menu. The selection bar will mark the first
entry on the list menu.
Move the selection bar to the menu item
HOTKEY.

The Hotkey Set-up menu will appear. The selection bar will mark the first item
on the list and an arrow symbol will mark the current function of the hotkey.
If you want to allocate a different function to the hotkey,
Use / on the rocker switch

to select the desired function and

The new function will be assigned to the hotkey and the main Set-up menu will
appear. The symbol for the current hotkey function will change.
