Track programming
You can also program the tracks you would like to listen to on a CD. This allows
you to omit the tracks you do not want to play.
Creating the track program
To create the track program,
Select the CD for which you want to program tracks,
Press
CD.C
?
to switch to the function menu and
Press the softkey marked
PROGRAM.
This activates the Program menu. If you have not yet selected any tracks, it will
not be possible to select the menu items
CLR PRG and RUN. They will be
marked with a lock symbol.
Select the track you want played first.
The tracks can be programmed in ascending order only, i.e. 1, 4, 7, etc., but not
3, 1, 4 etc.
Press the softkey marked
ADD.
Press or on the rocker switch
7
to select the next track for the track
program and
Press the softkey marked
ADD.
Repeat these steps to program all of the tracks you want to include. This pro-
gramming will not be deleted when you remove the CD from the system. When
you insert the CD again at a later date, you will be able to use the track se-
quence you have programmed. In the main menu, a star will appear next to the
CD number or name to indicate that you have programmed tracks on it.
