5. Operating BMP-4000
LEFT / RIGHT CILINDER :
the numbers will indicate
the height of the back wheels in millimetres.
(The right cylinder measuring system is optional)
set “0” :
these buttons are used to set the indication of
the height to zero.
Reset Both :
pushing this button will undo the set “0” of
both cylinders and thus indicate the actual height of the
wheels.

push this button to go to the next screen,
as indicated below.
Motor operation time
indicates the total running time
of the machine.
Milling operation time
indicates the total milling time
of the machine.
Feedback Signals:
Motor running
will light up green when the hydraulic
pump motor is working.
Cooling Fan Active
will light up blue when the oil
cooling fan is working.
LS left Wheel
will light up green when the left-hand
wheel is folded out (LS = Limit Switch).
LS Right Wheel
will light up green when the right-hand
wheel is folded out (LS = Limit Switch).
Failures:
Thermal Failure Motor
will light up red when the thermal protection of the motor is activated.
Thermal Failure Fan
will light up red when the thermal protection of the fan is activated.
E-Stop Active
will light up red when: the emergency sop button is pushed in,
or when the contact key is turned in the OFF-position,
or when the dead man’s switch is pulled out.
Oil Level too Low
will light up when the hydraulic oil level is too low.
Oil Temp. too High
will light up when the temperature of the hydraulic oil is too high for safe operation.
Phase Seq. Fault
will light up red when the phase sequence of the power supply is not correct.
PhotoCell Error
/
LS platform
will light up red when there is no one on the platform. Driving and/or milling
will not be possible.
