5.3 The Channel-Change Pushbutton
During normal operation, you can press the pushbutton
on the top panel of the ServSwitch Wizard once to
change the monitor display and keyboard/mouse
control to the next CPU channel in sequence. On the
2-port model of the Switch (SW641A), pressing this
button switches from channel 1 to channel 2 or vice
versa. On the 4-port model (SW642A), pressing this
button once selects the next CPU channel in sequence
(channel 3, for example, if channel 2 is currently
selected); pressing the key repeatedly manually cycles
through all four channels. When you change to a new
channel, the Switch will light the corresponding
channel’s top-panel LED.
