Loading Step: Bump
Following Spike, the image becomes active and user is asked to press the OK button when the DNA reaches the
target zone, which will complete the bump measurement. The number of elapsed seconds for the DNA to reach
the target zone is recorded as a Bump Time Measurement Trial. If the user does not press the OK button,
indicating DNA has arrived at the target zone, Irys initiates an automatic 60-second timeout and returns to the
Concentration step.
Note:
At times, the target zone may be difficult to see. With training, these target zone become recognizable.
