Maintenance section
The maintenance operation is the absolute prerogative of professional
operators and specialized technicians, in compliance with the
requirements of Machinery Directive 2006/42/ EC and subsequent
updates.
8.1
Maintenance
N.B. ALL MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING OPERATIONS MUST BE CARRIED OUT
WITH THE MAIN SWITCH LOCKED IN THE OPEN POSITION (for example by means of
a padlock).
EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS (REPAIRS) MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY
THE MANUFACTURING COMPANY PERSONNEL AT THE CONSTRUCTION FACILITY
OR
BY
SPECIALIZED
AND
PROPERLY
TRAINED
STAFF.
SUBJECT
TO
MANUFACTURER’S AUTHORIZATION.
Routine maintenance operations are to be considered practically null with regard to the mechanical
part of the device in question; the only requirements concern the verification of the oil level, the
check of fluid characteristics (and possible replacement in case of deterioration) and the
replacement of the filters present in the system.
N.B. CHECK THE WEAR STATUS OF THE DECALS AND THE CE MARKING AND, IF
THEY ARE TOO WORN, CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER FOR REPLACEMENT.
8.2
Replacement and disposal of the oil
Oil replacement should be performed periodically every 2000 hours of operation or at least once a
year.
Drain the control unit tank by unscrewing the hydraulic hose from the cylinder and pumping to
completely empty the tank, collecting the oil in a suitable capacity container. Dispose of the oil in
the appropriate containers according to the regulations in force.
The replacement of the oil and therefore the disposal of must be done according to law as the
hydraulic oil is considered special waste. Contact companies authorized to dispose of special waste.
Use the oil by selecting one of the oil types indicated in the table.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF WASTE OIL INTO THE ENVIRONMENT
N.B. Pay attention when handling oil; excessive or prolonged contact may cause
irritation. If necessary, wash the affected area abundantly with water and soap or special
detergents.
