Remove the cable;
•
Grease the new cable, then insert into the lever and
sheath;
•
Pass through the hole in the brush arm;
•
Thread the clamp onto the cable and block it in position
in such a way that when the lever is pushed forwards,
the length of the cable is such that the arm touches the
stop.

Replacing the side brushes
When the side brush is worn, it can be replaced following the
procedure in paragraph “installation” describing mounting of the
side brushes.
8.4.14
Adjusting the centre brush
To work correctly, the centre brush must be in contact with the
ground for a surface area measuring 6 cm wide and the length of the
brush. To adjust the height of the brush and therefore the contact
surface:
•
Move the brush control downwards;
•
The centre brush is mounted on two swing arms, one per
side, held in place by a threaded bar fastened to the
machine chassis by one adjustment nut and one lock
nut;
•
Unscrew the lock nut;
•
Adjust the height of the brush using the adjustment nut;
•
Tighten the lock nut;

Replacing the centre brush
To replace the centre brush, follow this procedure:
•
Remove the left side guard;
•
Unhook the side brush elastic belt.
•
Remove the screw fastening the pulley to the shaft;
•
Remove the pulley;
•
Remove the key;
•
Remove the screw on the shaft of the rear linkage;
•
Remove the nuts from the linkages and remove the rear
linkage;
•
Remove the front linkage;
•
Remove the screws and cover;
•
Remove the LH drive wheel;
