2.8.3 Connecting the servomotor (accessory)
For models with automatic
CHIPS
control (Auto type)
If you have installed a damper module with servomotor
(accessories), you must connect this to the controller.
1. Connect the plug of the servomotor

to the cable
intended for that purpose on the unit.
For models with basic control (Basic type)
Connect the chosen motor for the damper module.

This chapter describes the installation of the
b-control
continu-
ously variable controller that is used on units having a basic
control (Basic type).
2.9.1 Special points regarding the controller
Positioning
You can fasten the controller either to the wall or to a stand-
ard junction box.
Cabling
The controller is connected to the unit via a cable (not sup-
plied), and can be connected in series among several units.
Take the following into account, otherwise errors may occur:
• Keep the length of the cables as short as possible.
• Keep the cables away from electromagnetic fields and
interference sources, such as high-voltage cables and fluo-
rescent light starters.
