Trouble Shooting
Noise issue during use
The most likely cause is that some nuts or bolts are loose. Please check every nut and bolt using a socket set,
spanner or Allen key. Tighten each nut and bolt securely. Where possible, use a socket set to get maximum
torque.
If the noise is coming from the front of the machine, it could be that the issue is with the bolt on the pivot of the
swinging arm (A14) where it meets the foot pedal tube (A06). This is the only fixing which should NOT be over-
tightened. If you experience noise from this area, loosen the nut by half a turn and test again. You can continue
this process until the noise has stopped.
The elliptical trainer wobbles or shakes during use
Adjust the Adjustable Foot Pads on the stabilizer tubes to level the elliptical trainer.
Computer not working correctly
Check to make sure the computer cable is connected securely.
LCD displays E-1: This indicates that the computer is not receiving your heart rate figure. Make sure to hold
both hands on the pulse sensors.
Screen is blank: Make sure you have disconnected your device from the Bluetooth receiver. When a
smartphone or tablet is connected to the computer, the screen will be blank.
Inconsistent or erratic heart rate reading
Always hold on to the handlebar grip sensors with both hands. Try to maintain moderate pressure while holding
onto the hand pulse sensors.
Polar chest strap: Make sure the chest strap sensors are lubricated well. N.B. Users with body hair may receive
inconsistent readings.
Maintenance
Nuts and bolts
Please check every nut and bolt regularly using a socket set, spanner or Allen key. Tighten each nut and bolt
securely. Where possible, use a socket set to get maximum torque.
Cleaning
The elliptical trainer can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents on
plastic parts. Please wipe your perspiration off the elliptical trainer after each use. Be careful not to get excessive
moisture on the computer display panel as this might cause an electrical hazard or electronics to fail.
Storage
Store the elliptical trainer in a clean and dry environment away from children. Please keep the
elliptical trainer, specifically the computer console, out of direct sunlight to prevent screen damage
