5.1 Positioning the cuff

We recommend placing the cuff on your left wrist.
Bare your left wrist. Make sure that the circulation in
the arm is not restricted by any clothes etc. that are
too tight. Position cuff so the short section is on top
of the wrist and the display faces you.

Fasten the cuff with the Velcro fastening so that the
edge of the monitor closest to the wrist is
positioned approx. 1 cm below the ball of your
thumb.

The cuff has to be fitted tightly around the wrist
but should not constrict it.
CAUTION
Always position the cuff before you start the test. Otherwise the monitor
may be damaged.
