5.2. FILLING
FILLING THE TANK
•
Via the manhole (gravity):
- Open the cover on the top of the tank.
•
By external suction device:
- Close the drain opening using the valve located under the tank (figure 2).
- Fill the centrifugal pump priming tank with water. To do this, remove the hexagon socket head screw (V)
located on the upper part of the pump body (figure 3).
•
Filling without incorporation hopper using:
- Remove the plug from the quick coupling (B) (figure 4) and connect the fill hose.

Put the indexes on Berlogic function (DUALELEC option, choose function
01-
).
- Put the fill hose into the liquid to be suck.
- Engage the pump's hydraulic drive by pressing push-button (1).
- Bring the engine speed up to at least 1,200 rpm by raising switch (2).
- When the filling operation is finished, lower the switch (2) to reduce the engine speed.
- Press the push-button (1) to stop the pump drive.
- Disconnect the fill hose and replace the plug on the quick coupling (B).
