Calculate Factor M
The "Factor M" (Fig. 102, item 2) is close to 1 (default value) for standard applica-
tions.
1. Click the button < Calculate > (Fig. 102, item 3) to determine Factor M from
the count rate.

Factor M has been calculated and is displayed in the input field (Fig. 102,
item 2).
2. Click the button < Close > (Fig. 102, item 6) to return to

in
the submenu.

The determined Factor M has been accepted.
IMPORTANT
The M factor can be entered manually (Fig. 102, item 2), if a determination of
the counting rates is not possible.
GPC calibration: Max. GPC Factor
The maximum factor with which the level count rate may be compensated is spec-
ified in the field "Max. GPC Factor" (Fig. 99, item 5). The default value is 3.0.

The isotope specified by the source can be selected for the gas density in the sub-

display field (Fig. 103, item 2).
NOTICE
The sources for level measurement and the sources of the GPC measurement
must contain the same Nuclide.
