Adjusting your monitor
COLOR menu
If your monitor is under
sRGB
or
MAC STD
. (MAC Standard) mode, all color settings under the
Color
menu will be unadjusted. See also
Mode on page 30
.
1. Press the Menu key to display the main
menu.
2. Press the
W
or
X
keys to select COLOR
and then press the Enter key to enter the
menu.
3. Press the
S
or
T
keys to move the
highlight to a menu item and then press the
Enter key to select that item.
4. Press the
W
or
X
keys to make adjustments
or selections.
5. To return to the previous menu, press the
Menu key.

to be warmer or cooler,
whereas the unit of
measurement of
temperature is Kelvin (K).
The higher the value, the
cooler or bluer the image,
while the lower value
shows a warmer or more
yellowish image.

(in 500 K
increments, yet
no 6000 K), plus
two industry
standards: 5800
K and 9300 K
Gamma
Adjusts the general
brightness and the
contrast curve of the
displayed image.

Hue and Saturation - Press Enter to enter the their menus.
If any adjustments of
Hue
and
Saturation
have to be done, the values of
Color Temperature
and
Gamma
may not be retained. These color factors keep a mutual-affective relationship.
