Functional ground
Information on the reference earth is provided in the assembly instructions
(see
“General information” on page 15
4.4.7
Intermediate voltage feed
When planning a machine or system, note that intermediate feeding of the
supply voltage may be necessary for the I/O modules' electronics and sensor
system.
If the power supply is not sufficient, the I/O modules output a diagnostic
message. The warning limit for diagnostics is at approx. 19 V DC.
