Chapter 5 Operator Interface/Wash Setup Screens
Setup
SETUP / VFD OPERATIONS
Setup / VFD Operations / Conveyor
Note:
Gear ratio for 5HP is 86.22, Gear ratio for 3HP is 118.66.
Note:
Pitch diameter for the DuraTrans Conveyor is 10.52.
Setup / VFD Operations / Station 2
•
Current Monitor (ENABLED / DISABLED): If enabled, the station will monitor the Amp draw of load. If the
Amp draw is greater than the Amp limit, it will control the Output ON/OFF state as programmed. Output can
be programmed to turn off or on when load is over Amp limit. Stations 2 – 8 can be enabled to current
monitor but the Output of the linked Named function must be used to control Extend or Retract.
Note:
The gear ratio can be typically read from the tag on the motor/gearbox
combination. The typical side wheel is 20, the typical Top Wheel is 15, typical Quad
Wave Mitter is 40 and a typical Wave Across is 33.
Screen Key:
•
Pressing the corresponding button navigates to the
Setup screen for that Function.
Screen Key:
•
Gear: The accumulated gear ratio of all gear reduction boxes
combined that drive the Conveyor.
•
Pitch Diameter: The diameter of center line of chain as it rides
around the Drive Gear.
•
Min Cars/Hour: This is the minimum chain speed that will be run
when the Conveyor speed variance is set to zero (0).
•
Max Cars/Hour: This is the maximum chain speed that will be
run when the Conveyor speed variance is set to 100.
Screen Key:
•
Gear: This is the gear ratio of the gear reduction box running the
wheel. 20 is for a 20:1 gear box.
•
Min Vehicle RPM: This is the minimum RPM of wheel(s) when
the Conveyor speed variance is set to zero (0).
•
Max Vehicle RPM: This is the maximum RPM of wheel(s) when
the Conveyor speed variance is set to 100.
•
With Conveyor RPM: This is the RPM of wheel(s) when there is
no vehicle present as presumed via the ON Position and Car
Length Adjust.
